The Biological Laboratories building has numerous labs, including several Freshman Research Initiative labs, like the one for the Antibiotics and Nanoparticles research stream. Much of the research conducted here is in the Department of Integrative Biology in the College of Natural Sciences.
(The Patterson Laboratories Building also is a base for many from this department.)
The building also hosts research from Molecular Biosciences, a department that also has faculty in the Molecular Biology Building and the Neural Molecular Science Building.
